another busy week

Hi all what a busy week i have done loads and not had much time to stitch, however i have done a few.

 Here is the doll i have made for my friend beth and i made it to look like her. going to create it into a card for her as a thank you for everything she has done.

i also made another doll card from the original colours and have decided to give this to my friend kat in a thank you card again for everything she has done and here is the doll.

I have also done a card for my friends son's 1st birthday i really enjoyed this as i loved the cute pastel baby colours.

busy busy busy

Gosh i havent updated for a while had a rather busy time last week. my o/h's mum came to visit for a few days and was brought lots of stash mainly cross stitch and some card things heres the pictures, it covered the majority of my rug lol.

I am one very lucky lady :) which means i should stop buying anything from ebay but unfortunately it has become a little habit lol. not had much time to stitch whilst she was here but was able to complete a housewarming present for one of my best friends who loves cats and even though i bought it for myself i decided to give it to her seen as i have loads to be getting on with.

 My o/h created the mount using card stock that i had and i think it gives it a different effect than with a plain mount.

Right best be off i am currently doing a free kit of a chinese doll and thinking of creating more with different colours, shall post once the first one is done.

Progress

Hi everyone just update you on the progress of my cross stitch and knitting. Firstly the care bear cross stitch i am loving stitching this i got majorly excited when i could see the appearance of the heart nose :)

Also have been knitting too and actually finding it easier with bigger needles. here is a picture :)

AMAZING

Hello everyone well i am having a very lucky week. Firstly the card i made for my grandma (westie card) might be put into a future issue of cross stitch crazy shall have to keep a look out for that one.
Then today i won a competition on cross stitch crazy's facebook page whereby they asked what would your dream cross stitch job be and i answered having a cross stitch show on a craft channel and i won a maderia goodie bag. I was so shocked and happy beyond belief, but even better they asked for my picture and im going to be featured in their your say section in july's issue.

Im so buzzing right now :) Shall upload pics of the knitting and stitching i have been doing but got to clean so i can chill with a good stitching session later. Bye for now xx
