Cross stitch wall

here is a picture of my wall of selected cross stitch that my lovely other half has put up on the wall for me. it includes some of my projects and also some that my mum has stitched for me before i got addicted to it myself.

New kit - oops

I must stop buying kits as i continually find new things i want to do and charts in magazines that i am not going to manage them unless all i do in my spare time is stitch lol. Final bargain of the week, went to abakhan fabrics to have a nosy in the sale and found this kit for £4. not something i would normally do but i had to buy it as it definately caught my attention.

Another week has passed by and have again been busy with personal things but getting along with cross stitch for mum and dad's wedding anniversary, shall post when im happier with the progress. I'm also going to try crochet, my mum bought me a child friendly kit so hopefully i will be able to start making pretty things.

So with that in mind when i went into hobbycraft (again i cant seem to stay away from that shop) i found a book in the sale to make crochet animals and stuff so thought why not.

Also whilst i was in hobbycraft i found some scrap booking papers for 29p each and even though i dont do that at the moment i thought they would be perfect for card making.

I must admit that i do buy a lot of things so really should get down to stitching them lol.

Tusal

It is a bit late to share my tusal but thought as its the first time i can show it i thought why not lol. Here it is.

 most of these colours are from the care bear kit i am doing too so shall see how it grows until the next time i can post it :)

crazy times

hello everyone apologies for not updating in such a long time i have been rather busy with personal goals however i have been able to do some stitching plus buy lots of kits at the black sheep sale. here are some photos of my purchases:

 I think im going to be rather busy. The ballroom dancing couple is one im going to do for my mum and dad's 20th wedding anniversary, so that one is currently underway shall post updates at the end of today as having a craft only day today.

I have also made a couple of cards recently one for my best friend beth as a thank you for all she has done through my dark months and one for my friend's son's first birthday, they were both a joy to make.

Right best be off bought a knit and crochet made easy magazine yesterday so want to learn how to crochet so there is more things for you all to see. Bye for now :)

another busy week

Hi all what a busy week i have done loads and not had much time to stitch, however i have done a few.

 Here is the doll i have made for my friend beth and i made it to look like her. going to create it into a card for her as a thank you for everything she has done.

i also made another doll card from the original colours and have decided to give this to my friend kat in a thank you card again for everything she has done and here is the doll.

I have also done a card for my friends son's 1st birthday i really enjoyed this as i loved the cute pastel baby colours.
